Each program features an indoor question and answer session on basic astronomy, fun and games followed by exciting outdoor viewing using a professional telescope. Participants are welcome to bring their own telescopes and binoculars. Handout information packet is included. (although this is an adult workshop, children ages 9 and up are welcome to register as long as they are accompanied by a participating adult) Funded in part by Capital One Bank.May Sky Highlights<br />
• Venus shines highest this month as an evening star after sunset.<br />
• Jupiter is 2nd only to Venus for brilliance.<br />
• We will observe Jupiter, the largest planet, with its 4 Galilean moons.<br />
• We will observe the Virgo galaxy cluster and other deep sky objects as well.<br />
• Rain date May 23</p>
