The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner this week was trying to determine the cause of death of a 21-year-old man who was discovered last Saturday morning unconscious and unresponsive in his Lindenwood apartment, according to city officials and published reports.
Friends and family on Monday night gathered for a memorial service in honor of Christopher John Tannuzzo. His funeral was held Wednesday at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church on Rockaway Boulevard.
Mourners took to social media to grieve and remember Tannuzzo.
“One of the nicest and most genuine kids you could have ever met. A heart made of gold with zero hate in him whatsoever; glad I had the pleasure of knowing you buddy and may you rest easy and watch over all of us,” friend Tommy posted to Instagram along with the hashtag #longlivetannuzzo.
