In losing his World Series wager with his Kansas City counterpart – Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker – Queens District Attorney Richard Brown donned a Kansas City Royals cap at the office. As part of the bet, Brown will also be sending a shipment of Mama’s of Corona’s hero sandwiches to Kansas City.
Although it pained me to wear the Royals cap, I was consoled by the possibility that next year you will be wearing a Mets cap,” Brown wrote to Peters Baker.
