The City joined the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals last Friday in spotlighting the 18th annual Take Your Dog to Work Day.
Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and the NYPD got into the spirit of the event, which celebrates the companions dogs make and encourages adoptions from local shelters, rescue groups, and humane societies. Bratton invited Zaza, a 2-year-old pit bull mix that was rescued by cops from a Brooklyn building in April, to accompany him during his Friday morning routine and at the department’s promotional ceremony.
Here at The Forum, it seems that every day is Take Your Dog to Work Day. With newshounds like Massimo and Cocoa, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
