Cops Look for iPhone Thieves in Rego Park

Police are searching for two suspects who stole iPhones from a store on Woodhaven Boulevard in Rego Park.

The 112th Precinct is asking for help identifying the suspects from surveillance footage.

Police say that on Thursday, Feb. 9 the two men entered a Sprint store at 65-07 Woodhaven Boulevard at 12:15 p.m.

While a salesperson showed them two iPhones, they grabbed them from the employee’s hands and fled.

There were no injuries, and police are recording it as a grand larceny.

One suspect is described as a black male who is about 6 feet tall. The second is a white male about 5 feet six inches tall with a grey beard.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). Tips can be submitted at the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting TIP577 to 274637 (CRIMES).
