The dead body of a Queens man was found in a local cemetery on Sunday morning. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Robert Zaretz, who lived on 50th Avenue in Long Island City, was found dead just before 10 a.m. on Sunday, March 25 at Calvary Cemetery, which stretches through both Woodside and Sunnyside.
Police said that they found Zaretz, who was 42 years old, dead at the scene when they responded to a 9-1-1 call.
Police also said that the events of his death were unclear and that the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
According to the New York Daily News, Zaretz was found near a tombstone with his pants around his ankles.
The police investigation is ongoing.
