Seven firefighters were injured while battling a blaze in Maspeth for more than three hours Tuesday night.

At around 8 p.m., a three-alarm fire ripped through the entire interior of a two-story home at 65-55 Maurice Ave.

The occupants were able to escape with no injuries, and the cause is still under investigation, an FDNY spokesman said.

More than 100 firefighters responded to the call, which originally came in at 7:49 p.m.

Within five minutes, it was upgraded to a
two-alarm fire; and it became a three-alarm fire at 8:10.

“I came out and the sky was lit up,” said neighbor John Sahtila. He lives on the opposite side of the block from where the fire broke out.

The flames were doused by 11:10 p.m., the NYPD spokesperson said.

The house was charred throughout the inside, and some minor damage spread to the exterior of the vacant house to the left and a second home to the right.

Firefighter’s injuries were minor, but they were transported to Elmhurst Hospital where they were treated.
