Councilman Eric Ulrich could face a possible republican primary for the State Senate seat he’s running for, according to published reports.
As reported by City and State, Juan Reyes, a Forest Hills attorney, is considering running for the Republican nod for the senate seat.
Reyes was talking about running before Ulrich surprised many by announcing his run.
And the Queens GOP has repeatedly considered putting Reyes up in other races.
If Reyes jumps into a primary with Ulrich, they would have to worry about defeating each other before taking on State Senator Joe Addabbo in the general election.
