The Richmond Hill South Civic held its annual Installation of Officers on Thursday, May 24. Councilman Eric Ulrich was on hand to dismiss the officers from their term 2011-2012 and Sen. Joe Addabbo was there to install the new officers for 2012-2013.
The installation of Margaret Finnerty was a momentous occasion for the group, as she was sworn in for her 19th consecutive term as president. The civic also honored Mike Matarazzo, the owner of One Hour Photo as their Outstanding Merchant of the Year.
The following slate of officers was installed: Margaret Finnerty, President; Teri Saporita and Phyllis Saraceno, Vice-Presidents; Angela Morgan, Recording Secretary; Lee Condra, Financial Secretary; Terry Haflich, Treasurer; Elke Henkell, Publicity; Elena Carruba and Maureen Faubion, Hospitality; and Rosemary Ferrarra and Rose Guida as Chairpersons.
