Detectives from the 104th Precinct Detective Squad arrested 22-year-old Jamille Spleen on Tuesday, for a series of chain snatchings in Glendale near Cooper Avenue.
Spleen had been a fugitive since he allegedly robbed two elderly women of their jewelry last week, according to commanding officer at the 104, Captain Michael Cody.
Spleen, who resides in Brooklyn, was charged with multiple counts of grand larceny and a robbery.
It has not yet been determined whether another male may have been involved in these robberies.
“We have some accounts where a vehicle was involved and we are actively pursuing those leads,” said Captain Cody.
