Petco's Howard Beach location
Like many local stores, the Petco in Howard Beach, NY has taken the past six months to rebuild. However, after many months the store is planning to reopen its doors for the first time during a grand opening celebration THIS weekend, April 26-28, 2013, highlighted by an adoption event to help local shelter animals in need. The opening is just one more step to help get life back to normal after the tragedy and another sign that the community is resilient.
The store, located at 157-20 Cross Bay Blvd., is inviting the neighborhood to join in their reopening celebration. The festivities will feature pet adoptions, giveaways, discounted services and a variety of activities to introduce the new store and its team to the community. In addition, qualified Petco employees will be on hand to educate customers about caring for their pet’s whole health, which includes their physical, mental, social and emotional needs.
