Police in the 102nd Precinct are looking for a man who tried to rape a 21-year-old victim on Friday morning.
The girl, who was walking near 115th Street off 85th Avenue in Richmond Hill around 3:15 a.m., was grabbed from behind by the suspect and forced to the ground.
Authorities say the man was trying to rape her when a vehicle passed by the street and scared him off.
Video surveillance of the suspect police identified was released. The images are not of high quality but a discernible outline is identifiable. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’9”, about 180 lbs., with a medium complexion.
