Two photos depicting the devastation in Rockaway following Hurricane Sandy will be shown as part of the “Captured! A Moment in Time” exhibition at the SoHo Arthouse on Wednesday, April 9 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Caroline Roswell, a member of the Rockaway Artists Alliance, will be one of 20 artists featured in the exhibit. Two of her 10 photos in theshow, “Devastation of Sandy” and “No Hope After Sandy,” portray an almost unreal world following the October 2012 storm that decimated much of the peninsula and South Queens.
Complimentary food, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served alongside a night of art and live jazz. All work will be for sale.
