The Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the St. Helen School, located at 83-09 157th Ave. in Howard Beach.
Residents who have been impacted by flooding are encouraged to attend, as Matt Mahoney, of the city Department of Environmental Protection, will be one of the event’s featured speakers.
Deputy Inspector Jeffrey Schiff, commanding officer of the 106th Precinct, will also be on hand to discuss recent crime prevention initiatives, updates on recent arrests in Howard Beach, car break-ins, vandalism, and other crime.
