Christ the King High School Principal Peter Mannarino congratulates students who accelerated their mathematics education by completing a summer course in pre-calculus through Christ the King Continuing Education. The course, taught by faculty member Richard Hartman, was conducted over a six- week period and encompassed over 50 hours of instructional time. Their successful completion of the course allowed these students to progress directly from Algebra II / Trigonometry to AP Calculus. Now in its fourth year, the program has enjoyed considerable success as evidenced by all previous participants successfully completing the AP course, with most students receiving the highest score possible, 5, on the AP Examinations. These high scores allowed the students to receive college credit for Calculus.
