An area civic organization this week asked for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Brooklyn man with mental-health issues who used to live in south Queens.

The Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association issued an email on Tuesday morning requesting help in finding Joseph Logue, 21, who has been missing since March 3. Logue, who has brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen by his family at their home on New Lots Avenue in East New York.

Logue and his family used to call 88th Avenue in Woodhaven home. The WRBA said that Logue, who is bi-polar and suffers from schizophrenia, has been seen in his former community in the past week. According to relatives, without his medication and, under these conditions, Logue has a tendency to speak to himself.

“Joseph could be in our neighborhood right now.  We ask the people of Woodhaven to keep an eye out for him,” said Martin Colberg, president of the WRBA. “His family is worried about him. Joseph’s father describes him as a good kid who helps out the local church. We hope Joseph is reunited with his family soon.”

When he was spotted in Woodhaven, the civic said, Logue was wearing a light-gray Reebok sweater, white shirt, blue jeans, and white and gold Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the 75th Precinct Detective Squad at (718) 827-3548.
