Eager athletes last Saturday hit the asphalt along Jamaica Avenue in Woodhaven for the annual WORKS Little League parade, which signals the beginning of the new season.
Assemblyman Mike Miller (back row, from l.), Woodhaven Residents’ Block Association Member Ed Wendell and state Sen. Joe Addabbo, Jr. stopped to snap a shot with some of the WRBA-sponsored Royals, while other players enjoyed a ride on the landmark Forest Park carousel.
