Members of the 106th Precinct this past week made the South Queens command proud, earning awards in an array of areas.
Precinct brass—Special Operations Lt. Frank DiPreta (from l.); Capt. John Ganley, executive officer; and Deputy Inspector Jeff Schiff, commanding officer—were recognized by the NYPD for having not missed a day of work all of last year.
DiPreta also took home the Cop of the Month award from the Jamaica Rotary Club.
And last Thursday, the 106th Precinct volleyball team set and spiked its way to a Long Beach tournament championship victory.
