A frighteningly fun time was had by all last weekend as the Kiwanis Club of Howard Beach hosted its 30th annual Halloween Parade.
Majestic makeup and cool costumes on Saturday added a splash of color to Cross Bay Boulevard from 159th Avenue to 165th Avenue. Parade grand marshals included Kiwanis International New York District Gov. Stephen Sirgiovanni; Julia Biuggese; Mario Polese; and Justin, president of the Kiwanis Aktion Club at New York Families for Autistic Children.
“What a big turnout there was for the Howard Beach Kiwanis Halloween Parade!” tweeted Capt. Brian Bohannon, Jr., newly minted commanding officer of the 106th Precinct. “The Kiwanis do so much to help children. A great cause.Thank You.”
