Four Suspects in Woodhaven Taco Bell Gang Assault Still at Large

Police recently asked the public for help in identifying the remaining four individuals wanted in connection with an October gang assault inside a Woodhaven Taco Bell restaurant.

According to investigators, on Sunday Oct. 16, around 9:45 p.m., four men and one woman assaulted two male Taco Bell employees after they asked the group not to sit on the counters of the establishment. The 21-year-old employee suffered bruising to his face and body, while the 22-year-old suffered two stab wounds to his torso and was removed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

The perpetrators fled eastbound on Atlantic Avenue inside of a black SUV taxi and were dropped off in the vicinity of Jamaica Avenue and 132nd Street, cops said.

One of the suspects, 25-year-old Erickson Cepeda, was arrested 10 days later and charged with felony assault. According to court and Department of Correction records, he posted bail and was released on Oct. 30. His next court date is Jan. 11, 2017.

The other four suspects are described as:

  • Hispanic woman, 22 to 28 years old, last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.
  • Black man, 22 to 28 years old, last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a black hooded sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
  • Hispanic man, 22 to 28 years old, last seen wearing a white baseball cap, a black sweater, a red shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
  • Hispanic man, 22 to 28 years old, last seen wearing a black-and-white baseball cap, a black sweater, black pants and white sneakers.
