According to investigators, two women later used the victim’s credit cards to buy merchandise in Bath and Body Works and Champs Sports.

Police recently reached out to the public for help in identifying three suspects wanted in connection with a particularly cold-blooded, violent robbery last month in South Ozone Park.
According to investigators, on Thursday, Dec. 15, around 7:35 p.m., the three suspects were lingering near their black Hyundai – parked in the vicinity of Rockaway Boulevard and 131st Street with its hood ajar – acting “as if their car battery was dead.” The victim, a 58-year-old man, told cops that after seeing one of the three individuals holding jumper cables he decided to stop and attempt to help what appeared to him to be stranded motorists.
After the victim ambled over to the Hyundai, authorities said, Suspect #1 grabbed the victim’s wallet and a struggle ensued. During the row, Suspect #1 bit the victim’s hand, causing bruising, while Suspect #2 brandished a small knife that he used to slash the victim’s hand and bridge of his nose.
The trio stole the victim’s credit cards, approximately $800 in cash, and his cell phone before fleeing in the black Hyundai.
According to investigators, two women later used the victim’s credit cards to purchase merchandise at undisclosed Bath and Body Works and Champs Sports locations.
The suspects are described as:
Suspect #1: Hispanic man, 30 to 35 years oldSuspect #2: Black man
Suspect #3: Light-skinned woman
