Thanks in large part to the generosity of his 15th District constituents, State Sen. Joe Addabbo, Jr. (D-Howard Beach) on Valentine’s Day was able to deliver food and toiletries to the Zion Tabernacle Food Pantry in Ozone Park and the Sacred Heart Food Pantry in Glendale.
“Our local food pantries are always looking for donations, not just during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons,” Addabbo noted. “I am so thankful that my constituents came together to help bring happiness and love to people right in their own community who depend on these pantries.”
Addabbo has represented the expansive 15th Senatorial District – Broad Channel, Elmhurst, Forest Hills, Glendale, Hamilton Beach, Howard Beach, Kew Gardens, Kew Gardens Hills, Maspeth, Middle Village, Ozone Park, Rego Park, Richmond Hill, Ridgewood, South Ozone Park, Woodhaven, Woodside and the Rockaways – since he was first elected to the seat in 2008.
