The City confiscated at least nine unregistered motorcycles during a recent traffic safety operation performed in South Queens by members of the 102nd Precinct, according to Capt. Courtney Nilan, commanding officer of the precinct.
Motor bikes of all shapes and sizes are a familiar sight in Queens, especially in warmer months. That’s when the NYPD tends to crack down on the oft-dangerous modes of transportation.
