Volunteers and participants on Sunday soaked up the sun and suds for a great cause at the New York Families for Autistic Children Foundation’s 12th Annual Car Wash and Car Show in Lindenwood.
NYFAC employees and friends scrubbed vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and purposes—including City Police Department autos, the West Hamilton Beach Volunteer Fire Department ambulance, and gems that later competed in the highly anticipated car show—inside the parking lot of Queens County Savings Bank on 153rd Avenue. Andrea from Limitless Fitness led the event’s first-ever “Zumba Dance Party in the Streets,” and La Villa Pizzeria donated 20 pies to the hard-working NYFAC crew and crowd.
