A Brooklyn man was killed on Sunday night after his motorcycle collided with a car in Howard Beach, according to police and published reports.
Elvin Veras-Polanco, 33, was driving the bike with passenger Javier Tome, 28, around 9 p.m. when it T-boned a silver BMW at Cross Bay Boulevard and 162nd Avenue.
Veras-Polanco and Tome were both rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Veras-Polanco succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving; Tome was listed in critical condition.
