The Christ the King High School community is set to kick off the holiday season with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 30.
Bring your kids and cameras for pictures with Santa and the indoor Winter Wonderland filled with games and activities.
According to the Middle Village school, the event will begin at 6 p.m. with the lighting of the tree, followed by the CK Musical Theater Group’s preview of its upcoming show. On Saturday, Dec. 8, the group will open their two-day run of “Steve and Lenny: The Sondheim/Bernstein Revue.” The Saturday performance is at 8 p.m., while Sunday’s show is set for 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at showtix4u.com.
And on Thursday, Dec. 13, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., the New York Blood Center will be at Christ the King for its Semi-Annual Blood Drive.
