Second graders from PS 232 in Lindenwood recently traveled to the Young Chefs Academy in Forest Hills to do some holiday baking. The class demonstrated some fine culinary skills as they turned out delicious sugar wafer cookies. Of course not all the cookies made it back to the bus—they were just too good to resist! Among the nibblers were class teachers Ms. Girassi and Ms. Chappell, and the chaperoning moms who also enjoyed some of the sweet Christmas confections.
