Grateful residents of the South Queens communities that comprise the 102nd Precinct have been showering members of the command with flowers, food, and gifts since the line-of-duty death of Det. Brian Simonsen last Tuesday in Richmond Hill.
“The 102nd Precinct would like to thank everyone for their continued support, thoughts, and prayers during this very difficult time,” the grieving cops wrote on Twitter.
