This year’s parade honored “all our heroes in uniform,” including veterans.

From tots in tiaras to pint-sized crime fighters in capes and cowls, the kids, as usual, were the star attraction Saturday as Howard Beach families had a blast along Cross Bay Boulevard during the 33rd annual Halloween Parade.
Hosted by the Howard Beach Kiwanis, the theme of this year’s extravaganza was “Honoring all our Heroes in Uniform.” The parade kicked off at Cross Bay Boulevard and 159th Street and concluded at Cross Bay and 165th Avenue, where children of all ages were treated to rides and attractions while munching on pizza, hot dogs, and much more.
