The New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators is set to award four college scholarships (two Assemblyman James D. Conte Memorial Academic scholarships; and two Sen. John J. Marchi Memorial Athletic scholarships) at this year’s Italian-American Day festivities on May 18.
According to State Sen. Joe Addabbo, Jr. (D-Howard Beach), the 2019-2020 conference president, the four scholarships will be worth $4,000 each and are available to New York State residents that are current college students or high school seniors entering college.
Submission deadline is March 16, in order for the conference to ensure that ample review time is afforded to each application.

NOTE: The scholarship is open to constituents that reside in the 15th Senate District. Applications from students outside the 15th SD, or a district not represented by an Italian-American Conference member, will not be accepted.
