Proving they are more than just law enforcement officers, two 106th Precinct cops this week were thrust into the roles of midwife and delivery room doctor when one area refused to delay his arrival by even a few minutes.
Sergeant Jasminette Fuller and Officer Bryan Dasilva (pictured with the proud papa) received a call Sunday morning of a woman in labor. They quickly responded and put the expecting mother into their car to transport her to the hospital, but apparently the baby had Easter plans. Within minutes, a healthy boy was born in the NYPD vehicle—just as emergency medical services personnel arrived on scene.
