The video is as chilling as the brutally brick temperatures registering across The World’s Borough.
On Saturday, the City Police Department released a 38-second clip in which two men armed with guns terrorize what appear to be several victims inside a house.
According to 102nd Precinct detectives, on Friday, around 3 a.m., those men entered a Woodhaven residence on 89th Street near 85th Road via a basement window, “zip tied victims, and demanded cash and jewelry.”
In all, the two assailants held up six people during the harrowing home invasion—including two children: a 10-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy.
The robbers tied up a 30-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman, and a 34-year-old man as they ransacked the residence, filling a duffel bag with cash, jewelry, and other valuables before one of the victims was able to dial 911.
According to NYPD officials, the perps, described as two Black men, fled the scene on foot—but didn’t take the bag with them. Cops said the suspects made off with keys to a safe.
