For its #superheroSaturday this past weekend, the Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic selected Louisa Martini Gaskel.
We’ll let the civic tell you why:
“Our civic has received a couple of submissions regarding Louisa’s kindness towards two young women in the community who lost their mom way too soon. Louisa is a part of the same dancing school and when competition time came around, Louisa immediately began working out the details of the girls continuing with their dance team. She spoke with the dancing school and the hotel for the competitions and was able to raise the money so that the girls could be included. She went out of her way to make sure that there was some stability for the girls. Louisa has also been an integral part of the PS 207 PTA for several years. She’s is always ready for a challenge and is willing to do any task with 100 percent effort.
“Thank you Louisa for being an amazing member of our community!”
