Community leaders and elected officials joined spiritual luminaries on Sunday at the Rockwood Park Jewish Center to witness the dedication of the facility’s new Torah.
“I was happy to join my Jewish friends and constituents today at the Torah scroll dedication ceremony in Howard Beach. To be able to witness the inscribing of final Torah letters was truly a blessing,” said City Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Ozone Park).
“The Jewish community is an integral and vibrant part of our district,” added Council candidate Joann Ariola. “Mazel Tov!”
