Joann Ariola Endorsed by Phil Goldfeder

Republican Joann Ariola to represent the 32nd District of the New York City Council.

Phil Goldfeder served three terms as Assembly Member for the 23rd District in Queens, representing Ozone Park, Howard Beach, Lindenwood, Hamilton Beach, Broad Channel and Rockaway.

“I have known and worked alongside Joann Ariola for many years, and I am proud to endorse her candidacy for the New York City Council,” said former Assemblyman Phil Goldfeder. “On the issues that unite our community, it’s not a question of Left or Right, but right or wrong. Joann has the experience and skills necessary to fight for the community and make sure this is a district in which our children and grandchildren can stay and raise a family. While I was in the Assembly, Joann and I fought together for safe streets, reliable transportation, a solid education for our children and resiliency against future storms and I know that Joann Ariola is the only candidate that can deliver for every neighborhood.”

Joann Ariola responded, “I am honored to be endorsed by former Assembly Member Goldfeder. Phil is a dear friend who delivered for his constituents and knows what it takes to serve this community. He understands that the challenges our city faces are much greater than party lines. I will serve our neighbors in that spirit in the City Council.”

Joann Ariola has received many endorsements for City Council including the NYC Police Benevolent Association (PBA), Detectives’ Endowment Association, Sergeants’ Benevolent Association, Lieutenants Benevolent Association, Captains Endowment Association, NYS Court Officers’ Association, NYS Supreme Court Officers’ Association, Uniformed Fire Officers Association (UFOA) of New York City and the Correction Officers’ Benevolent Association.
