Students, Parents, administrators, and support staff across the five boroughs this week are celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week.
On Tuesday, City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park; second from r.) visited PS 63 in Ozone Park “to give a big shout out to all those educators out there helping to guide our next generation.
“Thank you for all that you do!” Ariola added.
According to National Today, Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated in the first full week of May, from May 1 through May 8 in 2022.
“Teaching is known to be a time-consuming and challenging profession, so this week is our chance to say thank you to those that play or have played such a huge role in our lives,” National Today posted to its website.
