City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) this week urged the public to help police nab the thieves who recently swiped the “Little Guyana” sign from the Lefferts Boulevard—Liberty Avenue intersection in South Richmond Hill.
“The brazen, broad daylight theft of the Little Guyana sign from the corner of Liberty Avenue and Lefferts Boulevard is another example of the kind of vandalism and crime that we are experiencing as a city,” she said. “Fortunately, the perpetrators were recorded in the act, and the 106th Precinct is working to bring them to justice.
