The community and its council member recently worked together to solve a recurring issue.
“Our office was made aware of the trash-strewn situation near the bus stop on Cross Bay Boulevard and Liberty Avenue, and we immediately got in contact with our partners at the New York City Department of Sanitation to get the situation cleaned up,” City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) said this week. “If you see any unsightly conditions in your neighborhood, please never hesitate to give us a call at 718-738-1083!”
