PS/MS 207 students, staff, and parents this week marked the arrival of long-awaited street safety signage near the Rockwood Park school.
“For safer crossings, our office requested that NYC DOT place a crosswalk, stop sign line and the word STOP at the new stop signs at 159th Avenue and 88th Street. The safety measures are being implemented [Tuesday]. Parks will be out to trim the tree as well,” City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) said this week.
