Lindenwood Burglar Apprehended

Even a community yet again deluged by flood waters had reason to cheer last weekend as area cops caught up to and cuffed a man wanted for swiping multiple packages from buildings in Lindenwood.

The prolific perp was locked up on Sunday and arraigned on Tuesday. Bail was set at $75,000 cash/$225,000 bond. The Howard Beach Lindenwood Civic Association asked Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz “to charge him to the fullest extent of the law and to not release him without bail,” civic Co-President Phyllis Inserillo said.

“Fantastic! Great job by the NYPD 106th Precinct and all the supers, co-op boards and management companies that fell victim and provided information regarding the burglaries to the NYPD that helped bring this bad actor into custody,” raved City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park).
