Ariola’s Office Welcomes Generous Valentine’s for Veterans Donation from Home Depot

Crew members from the Ozone Park Home Depot made their way to Councilwoman Joann Ariola’s (R-Ozone Park) office on Thursday, bringing a truck-load of snacks and supplies to donate to the Valentine’s for Veterans drive.

“This huge donation will go a long way towards helping our local veterans, and will make sure they feel appreciated this Valentine’s Day,” Ariola said. “Far too many of our veterans feel alone on this holiday, but thanks to donations like these we can send our vets a little something, and remind them that we are all so very grateful for their commitment to the freedoms we all enjoy.

“And a heartfelt thank you to the folks at Home Depot as well,” Ariola added. “This was extremely generous, and really shows their commitment to giving back to the community.”
