Borough President Donovan Richards Jr. on Monday said he will lay out his plans to protect Queens principles and highlight his administration’s first term successes in supporting historically marginalized communities in his 2025 State of the Borough address this Friday, April 25, at 10 a.m.

The Queens Theatre within Flushing Meadows Corona Park will again serve as the site of Richards’ address, which will focus on his administration’s work to safeguard Queens’ values in the face of the federal government’s repeated attacks — all while continuing the work of welcoming immigrants, making historic investments in our schools, building community centers, improving our healthcare system, combating climate change, creating jobs and much more.

“Queens is under attack. Our values, our communities and our very way of life is being threatened like never before,” Richards said. “But if you think Queens won’t fight back, think again.”
