The busiest Rockaway beaches are set to be staffed with lifeguards seven days a week, City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) announced on Monday.
Beach 73-106, Beach 108-110, and Beach 115-120 will get full-time lifeguards beginning July 4.
“As of this morning’s meeting with Parks officials, the department has committed to a steady, regular schedule of staffing now that the final lifeguard class of the summer is graduating—no more guesswork or waiting for a website to load!” Ariola said.
