The Cityline Ozone Park Civilian Patrol recently partnered with City Councilwoman Joann Ariola (R-Ozone Park) and Food Bank for New York City to distribute personal hygiene kits and household cleaning supplies to over 150 area residents.
One in four low-income New Yorkers experience difficulty affording basic hygiene products—toothpaste, soap, detergent.
“We may not have endless resources. But we have heart, we have people, and we always show up with our best foot forward,” COPCP leaders said.
