The 106th and 102nd precincts will celebrate National Night Out this Tuesday, Aug. 5.
The 106 festivities will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the recently upgraded Harold Schneiderman Playground at 155th Avenue between 84th and 85th streets in Lindenwood. The 102 will host the communities it serves from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Victory Field at Woodhaven Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue in Woodhaven.
National Night Out, which began in 1984, is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie through celebrations featuring food, music, games, and rides.
