Kew Gardens attorney indicted on sexual abuse charges: DA

An attorney from Kew Gardens was indicted on charges of sexually abusing a 16-year-old woman in exchange for money, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.
Eyal Katzman, 56, was charged in a seven-count indictment with engaging in a criminal sexual act, patronizing a prostitute, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse after the 2012 incident, the DA said.
Brown said a teenage girl who was friends with the 16-year-old victim asked her sometime between October and November 2012 if she would prostitute herself, alleging she knew Eyal as someone who would pay to have sex with her. During that time period, Katzman paid the victim $80 for her to perform oral sex on him at his home while the friend watched, the DA said. He also paid the friend $20 for setting him up with the victim, Brown said.
He faces up to four years in prison, Brown said.
