Police have asked the public for help in identifying two men wanted for assaulting two Maspeth diner employees after skipping out on their check, according to the NYPD.

At around 7:50 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 1, cops said the two suspects refused to pay their breakfast bill at GoodFellas Diner. According to investigators, when a 70-year-old male employee tried to prevent them from leaving, one of the men allegedly punched him in the face.

As the second suspect sat inside a waiting vehicle, a 67-year-old female employee tried to jot down the license plate number. The man bolted out of the car, snatched the receipt pad from her hand, cops said, and threw her down the front steps of the diner. Both suspects then fled in the dark-colored sedan southbound on Rust Street.

The female employee suffered a severely broken left arm and dislocated left shoulder. She was rushed to an area hospital in serious but stable condition.

One of the suspects has been described as a Hispanic man, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 180 pounds; last seen wearing a blue jacket and dark-colored pants.

The other man is also Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, roughly 200 pounds, and sporting a beard; he was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
