Queens Borough President Melinda Katz last week hosted her third-annual celebration of Diwali – also known as the Festival of Lights – at Queens Borough Hall. People of different faiths gathered to mark the ancient South Asian festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil (symbolized by light overcoming darkness.)
