Three people last week were shot in two separate incidents less than 24 hours apart in Richmond Hill and Ozone Park, according to the City Police Department and published reports.
Two men sustained gunshot wounds to their legs shortly before 5 a.m. last Thursday after a drive-by shooting at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and 121st Street. They were taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, according to authorities.
A 19-year-old woman around 2:15 a.m. last Friday was shot in the shoulder after a car pulled up in front of a house on Albert Road near Lafayette Street, opened fire and sped off, cops said. The victim was also rushed to Jamaica Hospital.
As of press time, all incidents remained under investigation.
