A man was shot and killed last Thursday night across the street from a Woodhaven park, according to police and published reports.
The 23-year-old victim, whose name has not been made public, was shot once on 88th Street near London Planetree Playground. The victim was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and died shortly after arriving.
